Nova Scotia Arm Wrestling Presents: Rankings at “The Pond”

The Nova Scotia Arm Wrestling Association went back to the Ponderosa Tavern in Truro for our Year End Ranking Tournament.  We had many surprises with several upsets and a number of jaw dropping matches! However, the day belonged to Sylvio Bourque with complete domination in the left hand categories. Sylvio captured both the Light and Heavyweight divisions in convincing syle. No one could even slow him down.

Nova Scotia Arm Wrestling Presents: Battle of the Atlantic III

The 3rd Battle of the Atlantic Championships took place this past weekend at the Bedford Place Mall.  We had 3 of our belts up for grabs on Saturday.  Both Lightweight belts and one Heavyweight belt.  We also had 4 additional preliminary matches leading up to the the belt matches.

Nova Scotia Arm Wrestling at Extreme Cage Combat 8

Over 4000 people were on hand at Extreme Cage Combat 8 at the halifax Forum to witness Mark MacPhail from Ben Eoin, Cape Breton defend his Battle of the Atlantic title against Greg Harnish from Hubbards, NS.  The armwrestling table was set up in the middle of the ring and Greg and Mark put on a great show.  Although this was held during the intermission most of the spectators stayed to watch these two battle it out.  Four out of the five matches went into the straps….
